SMALL SPACES, BIG BUDS
So…why grow weed? I think some of us like cannabis more than others and simply go down a path of wanting better quality bud and that can sometimes lead some of us into wanting to actually grow it. Over the years I’ve met people that grow it for medical reasons, others simply just to try a new hobby. Whatever your reason is we all have the same goal and that is to grow some good bud and meet people people doing the same.
The first time I tried weed, there was almost zero clear information online. When you could find something, it was buried in forums with growers using totally different setups—lights, mediums, fan placements, feeding schedules… It was overwhelming and confusing.
My first grow?
I used seeds I found in some decent nugs, a CFL office light, and some basic soil in a pot—in my closet. I didn’t check temps, I ran my AC only at night, and I had no idea what I was doing.
Somehow, the plant grew. I vegged it until it was two feet tall, flipped to 12/12, watched it stretch and flower—and chopped it way too early.
End result?
A huge plant… and about 3 grams of weak, unsmokeable bud.
But that first failed grow was everything. It showed me that you can get a bud with the bare minimum… but not a good one.

I’ve been lucky to grow in closets, apartments, barns, and large-scale facilities with thousands of plants. But no matter how big the operation, my favorite grows will always be those first ones in tents and small rooms—because that’s where it all started. And that’s where most of us begin.
